Return to Presence: A Journey Back to Your True Self

Embracing Authenticity in a World of Performance

There is a version of your life you have been performing. You know the one.

The version where you show up as capable, calibrated, together. You manage the impression well, meet expectations, and navigate the room.

You have been doing this for so long that, at times, you can no longer locate the boundary between the performance and the person.

A Transformative Experience Awaits

Return to Presence is not just a retreat about learning how to stop performing.

It is a container in which performing becomes structurally impossible. The environment, the pace, the people, and the practice are all oriented toward one thing: contact with what is actually true in your body right now.

We hold this transformative experience at Intaaya Sanctuary on Nusa Penida. This small island off the southeast coast of Bali has not yet been smoothed by mass tourism.

The land itself is unusual. It has a quality I can only describe as a refusal to pretend. The cliffs are too exposed, the sea too immediate, and the silence between the sounds too deep.

Something in the body responds to this environment by dropping the architecture it maintains on the mainland.

The Rhythm of Six Days

Over six days, we move slowly.

We begin with ceremony—not as decoration, but as the oldest technology humans have for marking a threshold. It signals to the body that something different is happening here.

We work with Human Design. Each participant receives a deep reading of their specific design: their energy type, authority, profile, the channels that define their gifts, and the open centers that have conditioned their behavior.

We move, we sit in silence, we sound. We share meals and honest conversation. We sleep well. We do not rush.

The Softening Process

What tends to happen by day three is that something in people softens. Not breaks, but softens.

The vigilance that is so normal it has become invisible starts to become visible. People begin to notice what they have been holding, how long they have been holding it, and what it actually costs.

In the noticing, something releases. Not dramatically. Quietly. The way a hand opens after it has been clenched for a very long time.

Returning to Your True Self

By the end, what people consistently report is not that they have changed.

It is that they have returned. To a version of themselves that was always there but had been crowded out by the accumulated weight of performance, expectation, and the particular kind of tiredness that comes from spending years being excellent at things that were never quite yours.

This journey is for those ready to inhabit their own life rather than manage it.

For those who can feel the gap between who they are and who they have been performing as, and who are genuinely ready to close it.

The Power of Connection

We gather in small groups, never more than twelve.

This intimate setting fosters connection and allows for deep exploration. The next retreat is from April 7–12 at Intaaya Sanctuary.

If something in you recognizes this invitation, you can learn more and inquire at kitaram.com/return-to-presence.

The Call to Action

Are you ready to step into your authentic self?

To shed the layers of performance and embrace the truth of who you are?

Join us in this sacred space, where you can reconnect with your innate wisdom and natural alignment.

Together, we will foster embodied leadership and regenerative living, transforming how you interact with yourself and the world around you.

Conclusion: A Journey Worth Taking

This retreat is not merely an escape; it is a journey back to the essence of your being.

In the stillness of Nusa Penida, amidst the cliffs and the sea, you will find the space to breathe, to feel, and to be.

Let us walk this path together, returning to presence, returning to self.

You are invited.
